Kawasaki And David Salom Are 2014 World Superbike EVO Winners

David Salom (KRT SBK Evo) ensured he would be the 2014 Evo champion after just one race at the final round of the Superbike World Championship in Losail, Qatar, by finishing 13th in the 17-lap race. Even with one race still to go David is 29 points ahead, an advantage which cannot now be overtaken.

Salom has been the convincing leader of this class-within-a-class virtually all season and has scored 12 Evo wins on the official Ninja ZX-10R machine. His best single result inside the overall SBK classification is eighth, which he achieved in the second race at Laguna Seca.
