Among the trails of Brescia, the best riders in the world battled it out over three and a half laps of racing; in the first loop, competitors faced the opening three special tests – Enduro Test 1, Cross Test, and Extreme Test – and finally the second Enduro Test. Due to heavy rain on Friday and Saturday, the Extreme Test was not timed on Day 1.
Friday’s Super Test kicked off the Italian GP, where Davide Soreca finished in an encouraging seventh place overall. On Saturday, he maintained a strong pace and, thanks to his experience, secured a Top 10 finish in his class. On Sunday, under clear skies - but with the tests heavily worn down by other competitors - Davide defended well and confirmed his position in Enduro 1 from the previous day. The Italian GP marks his best performance so far in the world championship, putting him in the perfect frame of mind to face the German GP.
Davide Soreca: “The Italian Grand Prix always has a unique flavour. It was truly a beautiful weekend. I started well with the Super Test and stayed close to the overall Top 15 throughout. Now it’s time to focus on the last GP of the year.”
The next round will be in Germany for the final Grand Prix of the 2025 season. See you in Zschopau, October 17–19.
